Flywheel teeth

The flywheel teeth were replaced by the Agricultural Engineers. I have got some photographs of the process of removal of the old teeth and addition of the new!

To start with, the existing teeth are drilled through. These are pretty tight on the flywheel.

Once the old teeth are removed, the new teeth are held in a vice and heated with a torch. Good to see the proper tools and safety gear being used!

Once heated, the teeth are placed on to the flywheel.

With some gentle persuasion! The teeth then cool and tighten over the flywheel holding them tight in place.

So, all good. Am planning to put this on, this weekend!
